Many famous tournaments are held for tennis every year. When we consider the Grand slams which are conducted every year, Australian Open is considered as one of the best one. In general, during the month of January at Melbourne Park this Australian Open tennis is conducted. Initially till 1987, grass court was used in the Australian Open. But after 1988, hard courts are being used as the courts for the tournaments.
