Multiple bomb attacks occurred in the city of Egypt. 88 people were killed and 200 were injured with this incident
First bomb exploded in old market and then it followed by Naama Bay. Most victims were Egyptians but foreigners were also among the victims. This was the second blast in a year. Earlier bombing attack was done in the north region of Sinai Peninsula.
Egyptian Interior Minister Habib al-Adli and Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak condemned this ugly act of terrorism. They vowed to continue the battle against terrorism.
As per the Associated Press news agency, some clues especially about car that exploded in the old market were recognized. A group called the Abdullah Azzam Brigades, al-Qaeda, in Syria and Egypt accepted the responsibility behind these ghastly attacks.
These attacks majorly created the tourism fears. Tourism earns about $6.6 billion a year in Egypt. But this kind of terrorist attacks will increase the fear among tourists, which can affect the economy of the country seriously.
