Luxury SUV Santa Fe model car has been introduced by Hyundai Motor, the second largest car manufacturer in India. This car is priced between Rs. 20.95 lakh to Rs. 22.95 lakh. Hyundai aims to sell the units 600 to 800 in a year and 100 to 150 units in 2010.
The booking for this vehicle will start from 18th October. The Santa Fe will be available with features like 2.2 L engine and six speed manual transmission. There is an option of 2 wheel and 4 wheel drive and this is a diesel vehicle and it has the mileage of 14.66 kilo meter per litre.
According to officials of the Hyundai, 20 lakh units of this model cars were sold since launching in June 2000.
They are confident that it has good demand in India. Company has the aim to have largest share in the highly competitive SUV segment in India.
