Yoga teaching training is offered by various institutions. Teaching programs that meet certain standards in the United States are registered by the Yoga Alliance which is a nationally recognized organization. A yoga teaching certification is given for people who are up to the standards. Two levels of Yoga Alliance certificates are available that include 200hour and 500hour training based on the length of the program. The minimum training required by a person is obtained by 200-hour program. Later for further studies, 500-hour program can be continued. The trained and Yoga Alliance registered person can use the acronym RYT after the name. RYT stands for Registered Yoga Teacher.

Finding a yoga teacher is easy when you go to a yoga center. Yoga teacher training programs are conducted by many institutions. But before joining an institution, it is necessary to make sure that it is certified with the Yoga Alliance. Based on the time period of coaching, the cost also varies. In addition to going for training centers, learning books on yoga and looking at different videos of yoga may increase the interest on yoga practices.
