Czech republic and most promising automobile company in India recorded its 98% sales growth for July 2011 when compared to the last year sales during the same period. Total sales for July 2011 is 2,412 vehicles which more than 1,222 vehicles in July 2010. Skoda is a good competitor in small car segment in Indian auto market. It is also introducing two new models for Indian auto market which are Laura RS and entry level car.
According to the sources, in spite of the tough competition from the competitors, Skoda remained to be a leader. The company has said that they are using superior technology to produce quality outputs. The company officials have said that they are focusing on good dealership networks and are trying to improve the after sales experience of the customers.
Skoda focused on improving the good network with dealers and with the customers. They are providing the after sale servicing facilities also. They want to extend their scope in India. Presently they have 81 showrooms across the India, and are planning to extend the number. Skoda is planning to double their sales in India which is 1.5 million units by 2018.
