Tata Motors asked the Nano owners to bring back their cars in order to add some safety devices and measures to prevent vehicle catching fire. Company decided to add additional safety features to Nanos which were manufactured in the month of February, it will be done for free of cost.
According to officials, there are nearly 70,000 Nanos which were sold and they do not know how many vehicles will be recalled. Many corrective measures have been taken by company and cover tool on catalytic converter will be offered to prevent the vehicle catching fire. Fuse in electrical components will be installed in order to prevent the short circuits.
There are five incidents which were reported from across the country such as Mumbai, Lucknow, Delhi and near Vadodara located in Gujarat.
So Nanos will be recalled by Tata Motors to rectify some cars which have problem of catching fire.
